ABOUT ME
Design Consultant & Researcher
Born in London, I studied product design at Central Saint Martins before working for several years at Pentagram Design for Daniel Weil on product, packaging and consultancy. Clients included United Airlines, Coca-Cola, Merrell, Benetton, Grey Goose, Israel Museum and Mothercare. Prior to this, I freelanced for designer and materials expert Chris Lefteri, assisting him in the research of books, photography for material databases, and the design of exhibition stands for 100% Design and the Institute of Materials.
Relocating to Hong Kong after travelling around China in search of traditional crafts, my exposure to design in Asia increased as I freelanced for companies such as JPA. Research and consulting cabin and lounge interior concepts for their client Air China, acting as the link between Beijing and their London design team. More local projects included work for the Hong Kong Designers Association, coordinating exhibitions, presentation ceremony and travelling seminars or their Global Awards. I also worked at One Earth Designs, developing the brand and marketing material or the socially responsible start-up and their first product SolSource, a parabolic solar cooker.
Currently based in Stockholm, I am working at RISE Interactive developing participatory design processes and co-creation methods to contribute to societal issues. Working with stakeholders from municipalities, industry and communities to strive for a more sustainable future.
Work aside, my creative skills get called into action on collaborative personal projects with friends. In London, we organized events and brought design to grass-root art festivals. In Hong Kong, my personal research in China’s crafts developed into a toy, a stop-motion animation, talks (TEDx Youth, Pecha Kucha) and workshops.
Design aside, I spend my time in exhibitions and rock-climbing.
